William Henry Nasewytewa

William Henry Nasewytewa, 64, of Sacaton, died in Chandler on January 19, 2022. He was born in Sacaton, Arizona on March 5, 1957, to Harrison and Julia Nasewytewa. William worked for Gila River Indian Community for more than 20 years before retiring. He liked to listen to music and was an artist. He loved his children very much and always talked about them.
He is survived by his children, Christy, Shannon and Jesse Nasewytewa, his siblings, Gilbert, Colin, Steve, and Ronald Nasewytewa, and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wendell Schurz and a sister, Deborah Nasewytewa-Jones.
