William Noble Bailey
Born in Niskayuna, New York and raised in Camp Hill PA, passed away in Mesa, AZ on September 17th, 2024.
Bill served in the United States Air Force from April 4th, 1966 to December 9th, 1969. Days after relieving his duties in the military he married the love of his life Carol Williams on December 13th, 1969. During this unity they had two sons Nathaniel Noble and William Anthony. Together Bill and Carol owned a detective agency called Northern Colorado Detective Agency (NCDA).
William had a calling for helping others that led to a passion as a firefighter. This passion started as a young child spending summers with his grandfather George H Wirt who was the first forestry fire Warden of Pennsylvania and started the forestry program out of Penn State. Bill spent 30 years serving in various fire departments and held multiple positions, he provided training to several fire departments across the state of Colorado through Aims Community College. After the fire service Bill drove for regional transportation district. Upon retirement, Bill and Carol moved to Ft. Worth, Texas for a short time before settling in AZ City, Arizona.
Bill is survived by his wife, of almost 55 years, Carol Bailey, his sons Nate and Tony, Daughter in law Julie, and God Children Renee, Sterling and Staci, Brother Jon Bailey sister in laws Debbie, Elva, (Charles), Ann and Lynne, Grandchildren Rabekka, Jakob, Jaryd and Emma Bailey, Great Grandchildren Joseph, Thomas, Inaya, Nathaniel, and Damian Bailey.
Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his great grandson Joseph, fishing wherever there was water. He enjoyed volunteering with his veteran friends in his local community. Mr. Bailey was loved by many and will be missed.
