Wanda Joy Bingham

WANDA JOY BINGHAM - On Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, Wanda Joy Bingham passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 89. She was born in Sulphur, Oklahoma in 1933.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Orville Bingham and son, Richard Clark Bingham. 

She is survived by her sons: Rodger Bingham and his wife, Mary Bingham, of Granbury, Texas; Sam Bingham and his wife, Carol Bingham; and Randy Bingham, both of Stanfield, Arizona; her daughters: Shirley Nowlin (Bingham) and husband, Steve Williams of Globe, Arizona; Mary Blackburn (Bingham) and husband, Lee Blackburn; and Linda Rios (Bingham) and husband, Chevelo Rios, both of Casa Grande, Arizona. She has 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda spent most of her years in the Stanfield, Casa Grande area (cotton country) with her husband, who was a well-known cotton ginner. She spent a number of years in sewing work-places while raising seven children. It took a strong, loving woman to accomplish what she had to do. And did it very, very well indeed. Wanda and her husband ventured from Oklahoma to Wichita Falls, Texas where

two children blessed their lives. From there, Phoenix, Arizona became their next stop where another beautiful daughter was born. Continuing on to the Casa Grande and Stanfield, Arizona country adding one more pretty little daughter and three more handsome little sons. Finally that was the stopping point for children. After her husband’s passing in 1998, she was left to carry on the only way she

knew how, one day at a time, with the power and strength from God the Almighty and the angels of mercy. This woman was admired for the accomplishments she made. Numerous trials and struggles kept her mind sharp to the very end. The many, many years she continued to give her all and asked for nothing in return except LOVE. It was indeed a blessing to know and be a part of this woman’s

amazing life. She will only be missed till we see her again.
