Walter Wayne Flesher, 80, of Maricopa, AZ passed away at home on November 7, 2023.  An Arizona native, Walter was born to Vance and Maryland (Nejedlo) Flesher in Phoenix.  He resided in Maricopa for the last 20 years, where he was close to his children and grandchildren.

In November 1967 Walter married the love of his life, Donna, and they welcomed their son, Dale, and daughter, Lorrie. Walter was in the United States Army National Guard, retiring after 24 years of devoted service. 

He had many hobbies and interests; including golf, gold mining, fixing anything that didn’t need to be fixed, and volunteering at the Maricopa Pantry.  Walter was always helping those in need.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Laborers International Union of North America Local 383.  He loved his family, friends, and animals.

Walter is survived by his son, Dale W. Flesher (Ivana) and daughter, Lorrie N. Smith (Richard), both of Maricopa, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He also leaves behind a sister, Darla Larson, of Isleton, California.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna, and daughter, Carrie Winchester.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  All arrangements were entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Services in Casa Grande, AZ.
