Sierra Ann Armendariz-Sosa

Sierra Armendariz-Sosa, died February 16, 2022 Phoenix, Arizona. Ms. Sosa was born on Oct. 7, 1987, to Eddie Langston and Sheri Evans. She later had a stepfather, Johnny Evans. She was very close to her grandparents George and Ivory Wigfall, who had key roles in her upbringing.

She was a cherished member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was always willing to go above and beyond when called upon. She had an angelic singing voice and was a beautiful soul.


Survivors include seven brothers, Marcus Batson, Eric Armendariz, Lupe Ferrgusquia Jr., Adam Ledesma, Deondre Williams, Zyon Williams and Eddie Langston Jr.; seven sisters, Asheley and Herah Smith, Angela Ferrgusquia, Adrianna Ferrgusquia, Lisa June, Kiyaro Livingston and Nyiema King; three nephews; three nieces; and a goddaughter, Mahlani Elisa Shaw, who was her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her grandpa and a brother, Brandon Ashford.
