Our beloved Sarah, affectionately known as “ SAR-Bear, Passed away on February 3, 2024 from an accidental drug overdose.
Born in Phoenix on May 31, 1997, Sarah ❤️ grew up in Casa Grande with her sisters, Elaine and Emily.
At a young age, Sarah found her passion for music and dancing, and “putting on a show.” She performed dance routines eloquently for multiple years with The Studio of Dance alongside childhood friends. Then, throughout high school, she was an exuberant cheerleader, rooting on Vista Grande HS.
Sarah enjoyed working in the family restaurant business as a server and shined in the dining room with her bright smile and kind heart. She shared a loving and kind relationship with all of our remarkable employees.
In her short life she was fortunate to travel abroad,
exploring some of the world’s greatest cities. Without a doubt, her most memorable experience was not in a great city, but in the Village of Viscarret, Spain. It was here in 2016, that Sarah ❤️, along with her mother and sister Elaine, cousins, Terry, Jenny, and Paul
worked diligently for 7 weeks restoring the ancestral home of great grandfather Miguel Echeverria.
It wasn’t long after she came home that the demons
she had kept at bay for so long returned. She did her best to block out the negatives, which is where her addiction to opiates began. From that point on, her disease plummeted her and her family into an incredible darkness that she would never recover from. For years
she was relentless in her battle to get sober and stay
sober. However, it wasn’t meant to be.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 3,
2024, our beautiful Sarah went to her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Sarah ❤️ loved her God and family deeply, made friends, and laughed easily, and gave of herself freely throughout her life. You will be missed dearly by all who knew you.
Sarah ❤️ is survived by her parents Jim and Tesa Machelor; sisters Elaine and Emily Machelor and niece Reign Lauren Machelor all of Casa Grande, Arizona and her Grandmother Patricia Machelor of Tucson, Arizona. In addition, survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins.
