Richard Vasquez, 72, died on November 27th, in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Mr. Vasquez was born on September 24, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona to Rupert and Amalia Vasquez. He worked as a professional painter and was also a very talented drummer. He played the drums with his band, The Apollos, for years.
He was preceded in death by his father Rupert and his mother Amalia. He is survived by three sisters, Virgina Chavez of Coolidge, Olga Vasquez of Coolidge, and Molly Blue of Mesa, Arizona. Although Uncle Rick did not have any children of his own, he is survived by 2 nephews, 3 nieces, 10 great nephews, 6 great nieces, many great-great nephews, and great-great nieces. He loved all his kids.
There will be a celebration of life later at the home of his nephew Frank Wood. Details will follow.
