Petra Soliz

Petra Soliz passed away on March 31, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona.  She was born on June 7, 1938 in Stockdale, Texas to Alberto Tello and Concepcion Munoz.  She was a long time resident of Maricopa, Arizona during her life.  She married her husband Consepcion Soliz on April 24, 1956 in Jourdanton, Texas.

Some of Petra's hobbies included sewing , cooking, dancing, baking as well as taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.  Petra was a very caring and loving person who always had time for her family and friends.  She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Petra is survived by her children, Albert Soliz of Tempe, Arizona, David Soliz of Stanfield, Arizona, Anna Iglesias, Teresa Soliz and Patricia Castillo all of Maricopa, Arizona, Alice Soliz of Redding, California, Adelina Smith of Los Molinios, California; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and her beloved dog, Scarlett.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Rosary will be recited on April 8, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. and mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 18700 N. St. Gabriel St., Maricopa, Arizona.
