Michael Dean Childs, 46, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 2, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11.

Mr. Childs was born on Sept. 22, 1968, in Sacramento, California. He was a restaurant chef and a member of Living Waters Church of God in Casa Grande, where he was lead guitarist. He was very talented and also played other musical instruments and had a great passion for music. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and reading his Bible. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tracey J.; three sons, Matthew Childs of Black Canyon City, Caleb and Marcus Childs of Casa Grande; two daughters, Courtney Childs of Black Canyon City and Elizabeth Childs of Casa Grande; a brother, Clifton Childs Jr. of Tennessee; two sisters, Donna Palmer and Sharon Hyde of Black Canyon City; and his parents, Dorothy and Clifton Childs Sr.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living Waters Church of God in Casa Grande.
