Letha Barker Alden

Letha (Lee) Barker Alden passed away on March 11, 2024, at KPC Promise Hospital, Mesa, AZ. Lee was born September 14, 1947, in Fulton County, Arkansas, to Robert and Bertha (White) Barker.

Lee married Warren Deen Alden on December 18, 1976, in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed many hobbies including traveling, camping, boating, creating gift baskets and flower arrangements, and happy hours with good friends. One of her greatest joys in life was helping others. Along with her husband, Warren, she was active in fundraising activities with the El Jebel Shriners and the Mariner’s Unit.   Lee retired from Cobe Laboratories (now Gambro, Inc.) where she worked for 35 years.

As a widow, Lee moved to Arizona where she enjoyed the warm weather, new friends, and new experiences.

Lee was preceded in death by her daughter, Keri Lynn Patterson, sister Berl Cox (Jackson Cox), brothers Reggie Barker (Carolyn Barker) and Loyd (Tuffy) Barker (Janice Barker).

Lee is survived by her stepdaughter, LuAnn (Alden) Williams, nieces Debbie (Barker) Owens and Terri (Cox) Girard, and her nephew, Ed Barker, and their families. She is also survived by her dear friends Penny Cavin, Isabel Trujillo, Linda Gorham, Mary Beth Fuss, Peggy and Pat Jahns, and many others.

A graveside service will take place at City of Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses St., Golden, CO. The date and time are to be determined.
