ELOY — Lela Cooper, 90, of Eloy died on Feb. 27, 2011, at Maravilla Care Center in Phoenix.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 6, with Ben Roberts officiating.
Mrs. Cooper was born on Sept. 11, 1920, in Tira, Texas. She was a store clerk. She enjoyed being with her family, especially the children. She enjoyed going to church at the Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, Don Cooper of Arizona City; a brother, James Smith of San Angelo, Texas; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; three brothers, Jack, Buster and Wilford Smith; two sisters, Pat Crook and Mildred Franklin; and a grandson, Michael Cooper.
