Lavina Marie Marrietta

Lavina Marie Marrietta, 75, of Sacaton passed away at home on June 25, 2023. She was born April 3, 1948, in Sacaton to Joseph P. Marrietta Sr. and Josephine Cook.

Lavina was a very charitable person, always helping others in need and giving rides to those with no transportation. She was her grandson’s biggest sponsor. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. She liked to listen to Vaila music, George Strait, watching her western and soap opera shows. Lavina was always happy and smiling, and very family oriented. Being with them is what she really enjoyed and loved.  

She is survived by her two daughters, April and Josephine Morago and 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Claire Marrietta, her parents, and her siblings, Donald, Harold, Mitchell, Myrtle, Priscilla, Merle, Phillip, Joseph Jr., and Leander.
