SANTAN - Lavina C. Quintero, 62, of Santan died June 16, 2007 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.

The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Romo home, 15961 N. Church Road. The funeral will be at 6 a.m. Monday at Lower Santan Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Blackwater officiating.

Mrs. Quintero was born Oct. 1, 1944 in Sacaton and was a daughter of Jonah and Charlotte Moffett. She was a field nurse.

Survivors include two sons, Domingo Quintero of Santan and Anthony Quintero of Ak-Chin; her companion, Gibson Romo; a brother, Wayne Moffett of Santan; two half-brothers, Raymond Moffett of Oracle and Edwin Moffett of Chandler; two half-sisters, Diane Rhodes of Sacaton and Ophelia Cruz of Santan; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Quintero; a daughter, Corinna Quintero; two sisters, Jacqueline Osif and Rocella George; and a brother, Harlan Moffett.
