John F Cullen

John F. Cullen, 76, of Casa Grande, Arizona passed away on November 9, 2024. John was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was a hard working husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by friends and family. 

John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War years. His service took him around the world to various locations, including Okinawa, Pensacola, Puerto Rico, and Spain. His experiences shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and commitment. 

After an honorable discharge from the Navy, John enjoyed a successful career as a sales rep for various trucking companies including Century Mercury, CF, and ABF. In retirement he started his own trucking business, Kerri Freight, and later moved to Casa Grande, Arizona, with his wife, Elizabeth. 

John was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, having attended many games when he lived in Illinois. He was known for his culinary skills and enjoyed cooking for his family. John’s hobbies included amateur photography in his younger years, playing card games, especially pinochle, and daily crossword puzzles.

 John was the devoted son of John R. Cullen and Marguerite Cullen, both of whom preceded him in death. He left behind his loving wife, Elizabeth Cullen, who passed just two weeks later. He is survived by his three children: John C. Cullen, Kerri (Kevin) Sosnowski, and Mark (Stephanie Chalmers) Cullen. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Kaitlin, Konnor, and Kaden Sosnowski, and Killian and Finn Cullen. He will be missed by his surviving sister, Mary Ellen Cullen, and brother, Dennis (Kathy) Cullen.
