Jesus Anthony Tellez Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesus Anthony Tellez Jr, aged 23, of Casa Grande, Arizona, departed this world on February 19, 2024. Born on July 7, 2000, to Jesus Tellez Sr. and Ursula Tellez. Jesus brought joy and light to all who knew him.

Jesus had a deep appreciation for nature and thrived in its beauty. His caring nature, kindness, respectfulness, and humility endeared him to many. His infectious smile and rosy cheeks had the power to brighten any room; his goofy personality could uplift spirits effortlessly.

An enthusiast of outdoor activities, Jesus found solace in fishing beneath a tree and exploring the wonders of the natural world. His interests extended to hunting, dirt biking, and nurturing his knowledge of cactuses, world history, and Greek mythology.

A skilled mechanic technician, welder, fabricator, and renovator; Jesus possessed an innate talent for working with his hands. His passion for collecting tools and his knack for fixing cars and bikes showcased his dedication to his craft.

In his leisure time, Jesus enjoyed discovering new music artists, watching YouTube videos, playing video games, wood carving, and sculpting figurines. Yet above all else, he cherished moments with family and friends. Known as a devoted big brother who adored his sisters; he took pride in being a new father and a loving uncle.

Jesus leaves behind his legacy through his son Jiovanni Manuel Tellez and is survived by his parents Jesus Sr. and Ursula Tellez, as well as his sisters Gloria Tellez of Phoenix, Arizona, Arianna Tellez and Nevaeh Tellez of Casa Grande, Arizona. He joined his grandparents Manuel and Gloria Tellez in eternal rest.

Services to honor Jesus's life will be held on Thursday, March 7th with visitation at Valley Chapel at 4:00 PM followed by a Rosary at !0:00 AM and Mass at 10:30 AM on Friday March 8th at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church with burial at Eloy Memorial Park thereafter. Passover will be held at The Toltec Community Center in remembrance.

In this time of grieving, let us remember Jesus for the light he brought into our lives and the love he shared with all who knew him.
