James George Barr

James George Barr, 90, from Casa Grande, AZ., died on February 14, 2024. He was born in Marquette, Michigan, to John Barr and Kitty LeClare Barr, on October 7, 1933.  

James was loved by all, he did Construction, building homes, taught himself to play the organ, enjoyed reading, loved to garden and growing Orchids. He traveled a lot thru the U.S., saw Yosemite Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and other places, but his favorite vacation spot was Hawaii. James was also a cook in the Army for 465 soldiers, but he didn't cook much after he got married. James will be missed greatly by us all.  

James is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years; Theophila Hyzy Barr; Children: Christopher Barr, Renee Barr, and a sister, Virginia Youn. 

James is preceded in death by both his parents; Siblings; Richard, Milton, and Edward Barr, and Lucille Hietikko.
