Freddie M. Aguirre, 59, known as "Big Fred" to many friends and family, passed on January 4, 2022, in Florence. Freddie was born to John and Nellie Aguirre on August 08, 1962, in Fresno, California. In the 70's the family moved to Coolidge. He grew up on the East Side. He worked for the Central Arizona Florence Correctional Complex from 1995 until his retirement last year. Freddie was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and go camping. His favorite time of the year was deer season when he would camp out at his Tio Alfredo's campsite near 96 Ranch. Freddie enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the 49ers and the Lakers. He loved lowriders, especially cruising his 65 Impala. No matter what he was doing he loved spending time with family and friends and listening to music. He could tell you all about any oldie’s song on the radio. He enjoyed hearing about people's lives. He was a loving man who wouldn't hesitate to help anyone. He is greatly missed.
He is survived by his siblings, Joe Bonillas, Rudy Aguirre, Arnold Aguirre, John Aguirre, Sandra Mitchell, Martin Aguirre, Barbara Mendez, numerous nieces and nephews, a special Godchild, Amanda Gonzales, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Julie and his parents.
