Flores Michael Kyyitan, 70, of Bapchule, Arizona, passed away peacefully on November 19 2024. He was born on December 29, 1953, to George and Dorothy Kyyitan in Sacaton.
Flores dedicated many years of his life to serving his church as a bus driver, bus monitor, and office manager for Saint Peter's Catholic Mission, where he was also an active member of the congregation. Known for his outgoing personality, he had a passion for cooking and baking, often sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. An avid sports fan, Flores proudly supported Arizona sports teams, and he cherished the music of his favorite artist, Elvis Presley.
He is survived by his siblings, Edmond Kyyitan, Gerald Kyyitan, and Angelita White, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings: Lawrence Kyyitan, Delmar Kyyitan, Lucius Kyyitan, Sylvester Kyyitan, Ronald Mack Sr., and Bernice Brown.
A wake will be held on Friday, November 29th, at 6 PM at the District Five Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. A mass will be celebrated the following morning at 9 AM at Saint Peter's Catholic Mission, with graveside services to follow at Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery.
Flores Kyyitan will be deeply missed but remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
