Elda Maria Rodriguez

Elda Maria Rodriguez, 61, of Eloy, AZ, passed away on August 5, 2023, at home. She was born on January 13, 1962, in Florence, AZ, to Eliseo and Eva Rodriguez.

Elda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always there for her family and friends, offering her support whenever it was needed. Elda was well respected in the community and had a wide circle of friends.

Elda is survived by her six children, Eddie Ruiz Jr., Jesus Ruiz, Eric Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, and Adam Ruiz of Picacho, AZ, and her daughter Cristela Zapata of Los Angeles, California, 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Elda had a close bond with her siblings, Eliseo Rodriguez Jr., Ene Maldonado of Arizona City, and Esequiel “Kiki” Rodriguez of Tucson.

Elda was preceded in death by her parents, Eliseo and Eva Rodriguez, and her beloved life companion George Zapata (Yayo).

Elda dedicated her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She took great pride in caring for her loved ones and creating a nurturing home.

A Celebration of Life will be held September 16^th from 8am-10am at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley chapel with inurnment to follow.

Elda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
