Elaine T. Childs

Elaine Childs, 65, of Ajo died on July 19, 2023, in Buckeye. She was born on April 3, 1958, to Virginia Cipriano and Lester Childs.

Ms. Childs enjoyed doing arts and crafts, hanging out with family and friends, listening to music and bible study. She was loud and funny and she loved her family, she was a fighter and was known as a good friend to many.  

Survivors include nine children, Nathan and Stasha Mewhinney; Sasheen, Sioban; Quintin; Leah; Jessica and Beau Childs; Juanita Cabrera and twenty-three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Services will be on 10 a.m. Saturday August 19, 2023, at Childs Ranch with burial to follow.
