Donald McNelly

Donald McNelly unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at his home in Maricopa, AZ on Saturday July 29th, 2023.

Donald was born September 8th, 1949 in Colorado to his father Howard McNelly and mother Dorothy McNelly, both deceased. Donald McNelly leaves behind his daughter Christina McNelly her mother Sherri Vitalo and son Buck Giovanni, grandson Kayden Giovanni as well as two sisters Carolyn Ika and Janet Cotton. Donald was one of six and has gone to join his sister Dee Hopper and Brothers Chuck and Curtis McNelly in Heaven with Jesus. 

Donald was a beloved father, brother, friend and member of his church. Donald found meaning by being in service to others over the years and continued to volunteer his time to his church, food donations/distribution and the M.A.S.H. unit in Casa Grande. 

Donald, Donny, Don or Dad, depending on how you knew him would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it but it would also come with a smart ass remark. To know him was to love him and put up with him in equal measure. His daughter is heartbroken but knows he is in heaven with his family, at peace and tremor free.
