David Louis Martin, 50, was born on January 18, 1972, in Westminster, MD, and died on January 16, 2023, in Maricopa, AZ. He was a Maricopa, AZ, resident for 11 years and previously lived in the Los Angeles area for 12 years.
He is survived by his father, Thomas, siblings Ann (John) Bunn, Michael (Gayle) Martin, William Martin, Linda (David) Carmack, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Helen, his brother, Thomas Peter, and his sister, Margaret Mary.
David graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD, in 1990 and the Baltimore Culinary Institute in 1996. He spent his career in the Food and Beverage industry as an Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Dining Services, and Nutritional Implementation Manager.
He was an avid sports enthusiast, especially a fan of the LA Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles. He played many sports, including baseball and soccer, and always shared his enjoyment of the game with everyone he knew.
David was very devoted and loyal to his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Services will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Maricopa, AZ, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 AM, Rosary at 10:00 AM, and then a Requiem Mass at 10:30 AM.
Interment will follow in Reisterstown, MD, at a later date.
