ARIZONA CITY — William David "Dave" Miller, 70, of Arizona City died on Aug. 25, 2011, at Alamo Lake.
A private service is planned.
Mr. Miller was born on June 1, 1941, in Martinsville, Ind., and was a son of William A. Miller and Mary Brummett. He served in the Army and was a carpenter for Phelps Dodge Corporation in Ajo for 24 years. He also worked at Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix for 10 years. He loved fishing and hunting and was a life member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his companion, Karin "Sally" Williams; four daughters, Barbara Staples of Anchorage, Alaska, Sandra Stephens of Millington, Tenn., Tanya Castro of Chandler and Stacey Zozaya of Yuma; a sister, Carol E. Bennett of Arizona City; a brother, Tom Miller of Winkelman; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
