VENTANA VILLAGE — Cruz J. Juan, 83, died on Nov. 11, 2009 at the Archie Hendricks Sr. skilled nursing home in Sells.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Juan home, with Mass celebrated at 11:30 a.m. by the Rev. Ignatius DeGroot. Burial will be in Ventana Cemetery.
Mr. Juan was born on March 10, 1926 in Kaka. He was a carpenter. He participated in an elder dance group.
Survivors include three daughters, Marerita Shorty and Leatrice Gonzalez of Phoenix and Lucy Juan of Topawa; three sons, Lorenzo Shorty and Benjamin Juan of Phoenix and Sylvester Juan of Topawa; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
