Christiana Montoya-Garcia

Christiana Marie Montoya-Garcia, 17, Casa Grande, died April 8, 2023, in Glendale. She was born February 6, 2006, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Nathan Isaac Garcia and Candice Monique Montoya-Schurz. Christiana was full of life, very outgoing and funny. She was outspoken and had a big heart. She was brave and the protector of her siblings. Christiana loved glamour and was an aspiring beautician. She loved styling hair and often changed her hair color. She enjoyed learning to be a stylist and a hair tech, she was looking forward to attending Aveda Institute. She loved butterflies, tattoos and piercings. Her energetic presence and glowing smile will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather Candice Montoya-Schurz and Miguel Alvarado, her siblings, Aleyah Ertas, Izaiah Ertas and Miguel Alvarado Jr. and her great grandmother Carol Schurz.

She is preceded in death by her father Isaac Garcia, her sister Anayah Alvarado, her great grandfather Richard S. Schurz, her grandfather Mark Schurz, and an aunt Felicia Anaya.
