**In Loving Memory of Angela Hernandez Pena**
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Angela Hernandez Pena, who left this world too soon at the age of 48 on September 2, 2024, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Born on February 24, 1976, to Josie and Luis C. Pena Sr., Angela’s vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Angela found joy in the simplest moments—whether it was sitting on her porch, engrossed in heartfelt conversations on the phone, or dancing with unabashed excitement to her favorite tunes. The rhythm of life was punctuated by her love for music; the soulful sounds of Baby Bash filled her home while the familiar voice of 98.3 played in the background, setting the stage for unforgettable family gatherings.
A devoted mother, Angela cherished every moment shared with her children, Andaisha Skinner and Kaleo Gaines. She had a special flair for culinary creations, and her tacos were legendary, often the centerpiece of holiday celebrations that she eagerly anticipated. Her humor was as delightful as her cooking, as she effortlessly infused joy and laughter into her family’s lives.
Angela is lovingly remembered as a cherished sister, daughter, and friend. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Luis C. Pena Sr., and her brother, Frank Montenegro Sr. She leaves behind a tapestry of love, woven with the bonds she shared with her children Andaisha Skinner and Kaleo Gaines, her mother, Josie Pena, her siblings Salvador Montenegro, Luis Pena Jr., and Diana Pena Gonzales, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
A celebration of Angela's remarkable life will take place on Friday, September 20, 2024, with a visitation at 9:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 10:00 AM at Cole and Maud Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, Arizona. She will be laid to rest immediately thereafter at Mt. View Cemetery, surrounded by the serenity that reflects her spirit.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Warren Funeral Services – Gardens Chapel. As we remember Angela, let us carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and the cherished moments that create the beautiful tapestry of life. She will remain forever in our hearts.
