Zelma Luceil Acton passed away March 11, 2012 at her home in Arizona City. She was born in Decatur, IL and was a 50 plus year member of the Decatur, Illinois Chapter 111 Order of The Eastern Star. Zelma worked as an office manager for the Arizona City Sanitation Company and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Eloy, where she served as treasurer, financial secretary and organist. She is survived by a daughter, Zelma Rouse of Athens, TN and a son Robert V. Dye of Middletown, VA; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dye; husband George Acton; parents Charles Pasley and Ida Smith Springer; and parents Virgil and Mina Pasley. Zelma's family wants to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Hospice Compassus, Barbara Engelhardt, Joy Kale and Bill Lewallen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens – Meals on Wheels (520) 836-2758. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
