Wilda E. Bartlett

ARIZONA CITY - Wilda E. Bartlett, 91, of Arizona City died on Nov. 9, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

The graveside service will be on Friday in Idalou, Texas, with Vestall Blakely officiating.

Mrs. Bartlett was born on Oct. 2, 1923, in Gainesville, Texas. She worked at Texas Instruments before retirement and enjoyed making quilts, especially for her family, collecting windmill memorabilia, cooking and playing dominoes.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Bartlett of Eloy, Charles Bartlett of Stayton, Oregon, and Joe Bartlett of Lubbock, Texas; a brother, Charles Whorton of Idalou; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira, and two brothers, Ralph and Russell Whorton.
