Wesley Bentley

Wesley Andrew Bentley, 78, of the Tierra Grande neighborhood east of Casa Grande died on Jan. 15, 2011.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Chaplain Michael Whitaker officiating.
Mr. Bentley was born on Aug. 4, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and was a son of George and Mary Bentley. He had a 20-year career in the Air Force and was a corrections officer for the state. He liked to be at home but when he did go out he enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, gardening, horseback riding and sports. He was devoted to his family.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Bentley of Valley Farms and Dewayne Bentley of Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Florine, and two sisters, Orvella Armstrong and Patricia Bentley.
