Vincent Augustine Venegas

SAN LUCY VILLAGE - Vincent Augustine Venegas, 86, of San Lucy died on June 14, 2019, at Archstone Care Center in Chandler.

Mr. Venegas was born on Jan. 10, 1933, in Cold Fields Village to Remigio and Maria (Ramon) Venegas. He worked as a farm laborer on the Tohono O'odham farms south of Arizona City and retired after 25 years. His last job was in custodial maintenance, working in the shop and helping with cleanup.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances E. Venegas of San Lucy, and a grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla (Lopez) Venegas; a son, Leroy Venegas; and a sister, Molly.

Wake on the night of Thursday, June 20, at St. Martin Catholic Mission in Gunsight Village. Funeral Mass celebrated at 5 a.m. on Friday, June 21. Burial in Gunsight Cemetery.
