GU VO VILLAGE — Victor Herman Jose, 55, of Gu Vo died on April 15, 2012, at Park Avenue Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tucson.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Mission in Kohatk Village. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Gu Vo, with a wake continuing there. Burial will be early Monday in Gu Vo Cemetery.
Mr. Jose was born on Dec. 6, 1956, in Kohatk. He was a landscaping laborer. He worked on lawns in his community and was easy going. He enjoyed waila music and playing drums.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Jose of Bapchule; a son, Jonathan Jose of Gu Vo; two sisters, Sally Jose of Kohatk and Marlene Jose of Sells; a brother, Jefford Jose of Kohatk; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Lupe Pablo Jose; his companion, Jane Ramon; and three brothers, Clifford, Nick and Joe H. Jose.
