Victor J. Marrietta

SACATON - Victor Jose Marrietta, 41, died May 14, 2009 at Springdale West in Mesa.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in East Sacaton Cemetery, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating.

Mr. Marrietta was born in Sacaton. He was a day laborer and enjoyed visiting with his mother and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Marjorie; six brothers, Clayton F. Card Jr. and Vince Manuel of Tucson, Fletcher Marrietta of the Gila River Indian Community, Gilbert Marrietta of Tucson, Sheldon J. and Rodrick Marrietta of Gila River; and five sisters, Sieanna Marrietta of Laveen, Simone Marrietta of Casa Blanca, Marlo and Patricia Marrietta of Gila River and Sheila Thomas of Sacaton Flats. He was preceded in death by his father, Simon Marrietta Sr., and a brother, Simon Marrietta Jr.
