Vernon Jones

BLACKWATER - Vernon "Mickey" Jones, 65, OF Blackwater, AZ. passed away on July 1, 2007 in Blackwater. there will be a visitation beginning at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2007 at the family residence located at 4176 E. Dove Rd. in Blackwater. There will be a graveside service at 6:00 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at North Blackwater Cemetery and will be officiated by pastor Randall Reece.

"Mickey" enjoyed yard work, Ice Cream, reading Western's and watching old Western movies. He also enjoyed tinkering with things, making them work. He liked a good sense of humor and had one himself. He also enjoyed spending time with family & friends, especially his grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish his memories are two daughters, Verlene jones of Blackwater, AZ., Tricia Murrietta of Sacaton, AZ.; a son, Travis Ellis of Sacaton, AZ.; siblings, Ivan Jones of Blackwater, AZ., Wesley Jones of Sacaton Flats, AZ., Donna and Laverna Jones both of Blackwater, AZ. and 14 Grandchildren.
