BAPCHULE - Verma Smith, 66, died on Feb. 22, 2016, at Caring House.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 1, 1949, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Franklin R. Lewis and Maxine W. Telese Enos. She was an inspector in manufacturing and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved to travel with her husband and also enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin M.; two sons, David and Marco Marquez of Bapchule; a daughter, Tereza Marquez of Bapchule; three brothers, Aaron Lewis and Junior Rosalez of California and Tony Rosalez of Mesa; two sisters, Janet Brazil of California and Denise Lewis of Mesa; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Snaketown Cemetery.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
