Veda Williams

Veda Mae Williams, 85, of Thackerville, Okla., died on Nov. 17, 2010, at Mercy Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Darwin Chandler officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix.
Mrs. Williams was born on Aug. 31, 1925, in Arkansas and was a daughter of Woodson and Louisa Estep. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four daughters, Rose Spradling of Thackerville, Okla., Betty Berry of Casa Grande, Lena M. Brooks of Rush Springs, Okla., and Clara J. Stone of California; three sons, Jesse, Gene and Bobby Williams, all of Phoenix; 23 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jesse; a sister, Marie Cline; a brother, Sammie Estep; a son, Clarence E. Williams; and a grandson, Bobby Williams Jr.
