Tony Trinidad

ELOY - Tony F. Trinidad, 87, of Eloy died on March 23, 2014.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Trinidad was born on Oct. 21, 1926, in Phoenix to Jesus and Angela Flores de la Trinidad. He moved to Eloy in 1946 after his discharge from the Marine Corps to help his father in the operation of the "Big Store," which was located south of town at Sunshine Boulevard and Harmon Road. He later went to work at the post office in Eloy and retired as postmaster in 1986.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Juana, and a brother, Frank. He is survived by two brothers, Carlos of Tucson and Richard of Phoenix; a sister, Teresa Bowen of Green Valley; a stepson, Henry Bastidas and family of Indio, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
