Tomas Marruffo

Tomas Cortez Marruffo, 72, of Casa Grande died Sept. 29, 2009 at home.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Marruffo was born Dec. 21, 1936 in Avondale and was a son of Pedro and Gabina Marruffo. He was a farm laborer.

Survivors include his companion, Ignacia Tapia; two sons, Martin and Macario Marruffo of Casa Grande; two stepsons, Frank Tapia of Missouri and Eddie Tapia of Phoenix; two stepdaughters, Delia Vasquez of Eloy and Maria Ochoa of Casa Grande; a sister; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
