Tom Lamb

Thomas J. "Tom" Lamb, 73, of Casa Grande and formerly of Eloy, died on Nov. 21, 2013, at home, with his wife at his side.
Mr. Lamb was born on April 4, 1940, in Hitchita, Okla., and was a son of H.M. and Dorothy Farmer Lamb. He moved to Arizona in the early 1940s and held several interesting jobs. He became a corrections officer for the Arizona Department of Corrections and retired after 20 years in 2001.
He was a great storyteller and loved to share wild and crazy tales with his many friends and family. He loved to hunt, fish and read. He was well-liked and seemed to meet people he knew wherever he went.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Carol Simpson Lamb, and two brothers, Herman Lamb of Taylor and Frank Lamb of Texas. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Williams and Wanda Ballard.
No service is planned immediately.
