Tom Allen "Tom" Miller

CASA GRANDE - Thomas Allen "Tom" Miller, 81, died on Dec. 30, 2019.

Mr. Miller was born in Davenport, Iowa, on Oct. 20, 1938. He was raised in Boone, Iowa, by his father and mother, Donald and Ruth Miller. He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University in 1961. He spent over 40 years in the pork industry as a producer and working with the Arizona Pork Council and the National Pork Council. He served as an executive member on the National Pork Council for several years and as president.

He was a proud member of the Casa Grande Republican Club. He was well-liked and devoted to his family and friends. He died after several surgeries and months of rehabilitation.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory T. and Douglas A. Miller; two stepsons, Christopher and Shea Nieto; a brother, James K. Miller; two grandchildren Kameron Miller, Kendra Alvarez; and three great-granddaughters.

A Memorial service with reception to follow will be held in the Memory Gardens on Saturday January 25 1PM.
