Theodore Jones

CHANDLER - Theodore Jones, 86, of Chandler died on April 4, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Refreshed Spirit of Faith Ministries Church, 1546 E. McKinley St. in Phoenix. The service will follow at 11, with Pastor Dan Williams officiating.

Mr. Jones was born on Nov. 4, 1928, in Detroit and was a son of Lillie and Lawrence Jones Sr. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and later worked in automotive production. He loved his family and enjoyed travel and watching westerns on TV. He enjoyed going to church and hearing spiritual messages. He also enjoyed bowling with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; three daughters, Adele Mills and Anita Livingston of Detroit and Tanisha Galbreath of Maricopa; a son, Coleman Galbreath Jr. of Maricopa; two brothers, Lawrence and Charles Jones of Detroit; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Britney Mills.
