Thelma Sue Peters, 76, of Coolidge, passed away November 9, 2020 at home. Thelma Sue was born in Black Oak, Arkansas on January 8, 1944 to Erbie H. and Lela B. Andrews. She graduated from John F. Hodge High School in 1962, in St. James MO. after that marrying her husband Donald "Don" Peters. She followed him all over the US, Germany and Panama. Living the life of a Military Wife, making a home for her family. This gave her the opportunity to meet many people along the way. She loved volunteering and helping others. She was a hard-working homemaker. Her interest include painting, crafts, quilting, sewing and she was good at it. She won ribbons at the Arizona State Fair and the Pinal County Fairs. "Making Quilts, Makes Me Happy"
She is survived by her three children, Daniel Peters (Beth) of Bel Air, MO, Patti Peters-Sittner (David) of Queen Creek, and Peggi Peters (Chris) of Afton, NY; a brother, Sam Andrews of Columbia, MO; and two sisters, Mary Allen Andrews of Springfield, MO, and Betty Andrews of San Diego, CA; and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Donald Peters.
