BLACKWATER — Terrance Moyah, 60, of Blackwater died on May 31, 2011, in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 1 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Mission in Blackwater.
Mr. Moyah, nicknamed “Terrible,” was born on May 3, 1951, in Sacaton. He was a driver for the Gila River Indian Community and was a talkative, outgoing person who enjoyed people very much and was known for his sense of humor. He was an artist who enjoyed doing beadwork and drawings. He also enjoyed oldies music and O’odham bingo.
Survivors include his companion, Tina Hernandez; three brothers, Carlos Moyah of Blackwater, Victor Moyah of Casa Grande and Courtney Moyah of Salt River; and three sisters, Angelina Barley of Blackwater, Joyce Norris of Sacaton Flats and Gena Joaquin of Florence Village. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Seraphine Moyah, and a brother, Dwight Moyah.
