Sylvia Sabori Burciaga

SANTAN - Sylvia Sabori Burciaga, 56, of Glendale died on Oct. 3, 2015, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at St. Anne feast house. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Burciaga was born on March 24, 1959, in Phoenix. She graduated from Central High School in Phoenix, where she participated in sports, and gymnastics was her favorite. She was an office manager and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Glendale. She enjoyed watching novelas, dancing and listening to music. She loved her family and especially her children.

Survivors include two sons, Alexander R. and Johnny G. Burciaga of Phoenix; three daughters, Yvonne N., Erica L. and Antonette R. Burciaga, all of Phoenix; her companion, Maria M. Mata; her father, Simon Burciaga of Santan; a brother, Fidel S. Burciaga of Bapchule; four sisters, Stella B. Sanchez, Irene and Esther Burciaga, all of Santan, and Mary T. Burciaga of Phoenix; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria S. Burciaga, and a brother, Arthur Burciaga.
