ARIZONA CITY — Sylvia Laverne Rousseau, 89, of Arizona City died on Sept. 16, 2011, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Rousseau was born on Oct. 17, 1921, in Byron, Okla., to Lee and Marie Herbert LaBrue. She and her husband, Earl, were dairy farmers for many years and then owners of S&R Machinery Co. of Chehalis, Wash., for 10 years before retiring to Arizona. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, now known as the Community of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis E. Rousseau of Arizona City and Fred Rousseau; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
