Sylvia "Muffin" Smith

CHARCO 27 VILLAGE — Sylvia "Muffin" Smith, 36, of Phoenix died on Feb. 13, 2013, at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Santa Cruz Catholic Mission in Charco 27, Tohono O'odham Nation, with a wake following. Burial will be in Charco 27 Cemetery.
Ms. Smith was born on May 23, 1976, in Phoenix. She was a caregiver for 15 years.
Survivors include her parents, Evelyn Smith of Phoenix and Jesse Montoya of Arizona, and two sisters, Leah and Marlena Smith of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Smith.
