Susan Justin

CASA BLANCA - Susan Marie Justin, 82, died on May 2, 2014, at home.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday at Casa Blanca Assembly of God. The funeral there will be at 6 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. George Yucupicio officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.

Mrs. Justin was born on April 15, 1932, in Santa Cruz and was a daughter of Agnes and Lawrence Lewis Sr. She was a school cook before retirement and loved going to church and cooking and also liked to sew. She formerly made traditional Indian baskets, and she enjoyed helping and taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Alberta Yucupicio of Bapchule and Paula Justin of Maricopa; a son, Roger Justin of Bapchule; two sisters, Katherine Lewis and Ethelene Lewis Hughes of Bapchule; a brother, Lawrence Lewis Jr. of Bapchule; 15 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth; two sons, Edwin and Valerian Justin; four brothers, Gerald, Willard, James and Reynold Lewis; and a sister, Augustine Lewis.
