Silveria Valenzuela, 71, of Eloy died Jan. 14, 2008 at home


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre.

Mrs. Valenzuela was born June 20, 1936 in Mexico and was a daughter of Ignacio Garcia and Juana Romana Albizo. She was a homemaker. She loved flowers, pets and her family.

Survivors include seven daughters, Maria R. Cantillano of Pasadena, Texas, Maria Teresa Magana, Rosa Maria Esparza, Angela Valenzuela, Margarita Chavez and Maria Isela Cazares, all of Eloy, and Leonarda Saenz of Mesa; two sons, Juan M. Valenzuela of Eloy and Ignacio Valenzuela of Pasadena; four brothers, Jose B. Garcia of Fabens, Texas, Juan and Patricio Garcia of Mexico and Roberto Garcia of Oklahoma; six sisters, Antonia Garcia and Aniceta Rivera of Horizon, Texas, Maria Sanchez and Andrea Garcia of Mexico, Rosario Rodriguez of Horizon and Pascuala Martinez of Fabens; 26 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo; two daughters, Maria Esther and Martina Valenzuela; a son, Cirilo Valenzuela; and a sister, Francisca Conchas.
