Shirley Louise Boiko

Shirley Louise Boiko, 85, a longtime Casa Grande resident, died on March 6, 2010 at home.
A private service is planned.
Mrs. Boiko was born on Jan. 21, 1925 in Lincoln, Neb., and was a daughter of Sylvester and Alice Karthaus. She received a master’s degree from the University of Michigan and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. She was a homemaker and the wife of the late Dr. George Boiko, a longtime Casa Grande physician.
Survivors include a son, Richard Boiko of Casa Grande, and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Boiko of Phoenix.
