Shawnee Sam

Shawnee Roshell Sam, 34, of Sacaton, died January 26, 2023, in Chandler. She was born November 26, 1988, in Phoenix to Kathy Lewis. Shawnee loved spending time with her children, family and friends. She liked to joke around and quote funny lines from different movies.

She is survived by her sons, Nathan, Anthony and Colton, her daughter Blessing, her mother and stepfather James and Kathy Lewis, sisters, Amber and Amy, brothers Byson and Roger, 6 nieces and 5 nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother Bennett Lewis Jr., her dad, Christopher Thompson, and her grandparents, Horton and Imogene Enos.
