Santiago Benavidez Luna

Santiago Benavidez Luna, 47, passed away on June 30, 2019.
He was born on May 6, 1972 to Federico and Beatrice Luna in Mexico. Santiago’s favorite hobby in life was obtaining knowledge. His best and most common advice for anyone who would listen was, "Knowledge is power, read a book and educate yourself". He was someone to look up to, follow, admire, be proud of, brag about, learn from, respect, listen to and someone to talk to. His love was unconditional. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Santiago is survived by his parents: Federico and Beatrice Luna; his spouse: Beverley Luna of Casa Grande; his children: Lela Luna, Santiago Luna Jr. and Kassie Ramirez of Casa Grande, Robert Ruiz of Arizona City, Joshua Hoffman of Casa Grande, Dominic Velazquez of Arizona City, Jacob Velazquez of Toltec and Cienna Rodriguez of Casa Grande; his siblings: Hortencia Rodriguez of Casa Grande, Rosendo Luna of Avondale
and Sonia Luna of Casa Grande.
He is preceded in death by his older brother: Aaron Luna.
Viewing will be held at J. Warren, Cole & Maud, The Gardens Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd., Casa Grande, AZ from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8th followed by a Rosary from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Service for Santiago will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 201 N. Picacho St., Casa Grande, AZ on Tuesday, July 9th starting at 9 a.m. followed by his laying to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, 15506 W. Skyway Ave., Casa Grande, AZ.
